I had heard a lot many things about Dubai and I had always desired to visit this beautiful place. I never had any opportunity to visit Dubai due to my hectic schedule. Some of my relatives were settled in Dubai.
They had planned a family function which gave me a good reason to visit this enchanting place. I contacted my relatives and planned for a great trip after the function. Also, I searched on the internet and checked various places which were worth visiting.
Onboard Journey Experience:
As soon as I got the final dates for the function from the relatives back in Dubai, I started planning for my Dubai trip. I kept few days extra on my schedule, just for visiting popular places in and around Dubai. For traveling from Pune to Dubai, I searched online for various airline options providing affordable flight options. I found that, Pune To Dubai Flights were scheduled at regular intervals.
While searching, I came across various airlines and finalized to travel through Air India Express. This airline provided me with good offers and tickets at affordable rates. I decided to travel through the economy class and booked the ticket accordingly.
The flight journey was excellent and the flight attendants were helpful and friendly. I was provided with onboard snacks which were delicious and filling. The flight was on time and reached Dubai airport as per the scheduled time.
Quality Time with Family Members:
My relatives came to receive me at the Dubai airport. Then, we directly headed towards home for the function. The event was a great success with all members meeting each other after a long gap. We spent quality time together. All the younger kids were having lots of fun. Once the function was over we all made plans to visit the world famous Dubai Mall. It is said to be the largest mall in the world.
Within the mall, there is Dubai aquarium and underground zoo which was said be a wonderful place to visit. This aquarium had more than 300 species of marine animals which included sharks and rays. It was actually a 27- degree acrylic walk-through the tunnel which allowed the visitors to have a very closer look at the underwater animals. The ambiance of the tank was dependent on the time of the day and ‘lunar-cyclic’ lighting system was used.
The underground zoo helped in educating the children and visitors about the ecology and the sustainability of marine life. The tour in the zoo was divided into three zones which covered rainforest, rocky shore, and the living ocean. The various aquatic animals which were observed during this tour included a large variety of penguins, crocodiles, piranhas, giant spider crabs, water rats, sea horses, jellyfish etc.
All the family members from small children to the senior citizens enjoyed and learned many new things in the underground aquarium cum zoo. This trip to Dubai was definitely the most memorable trip I ever had.
