Time To Go Shopping and More In Mumbai

A prominent city, famously called the financial center of the country, Mumbai offers enough opportunities for tourists with its busy shopping streets, malls and centers. There are many places in Mumbai, where one would be spoilt for choices. I scheduled my business training in Mumbai, which gave me an opportunity to visit the city and enjoy shopping there.
I did an extensive research on the internet to check the famous places for shopping. I even checked out places near my hotel, as well as to my training center.
Traveling from Goa to Mumbai
On getting the final date for my training in Mumbai, I checked for various flight options that were available from Goa to Mumbai. After doing an extensive research, I found Etihad Airways which provided me the cheapest air tickets as compared to any other flights. The availability of this flight was as per the time, which was suitable for my journey. I quickly booked my tickets in the Economy Class.

On arriving at the Chattrapati Shivaji International Airport, I hired a prepaid taxi to reach my hotel. The accommodation was around 25 kilometers away from the airport. This hotel was situated near the Arabian Sea and offered a continuous flow of cool sea breeze. The various tourist places which were close by to the hotel included Marine Drive and Gateway of India.
The Hotel Astoria is a 3-star hotel having the pleasant environment and all necessary amenities. I checked into a Standard Room, which was well furnished. The room was comfortable and cozy.

Shopping Experience in Mumbai
Having done with my business training, I had a lot of time to check into my to-do-shopping list in various parts of Mumbai. I started my journey from Zaveri Bazar, which is situated in the South Mumbai area. Zaveri Bazar is a narrow lane, which houses hundreds of jewelry shops. I checked into various shops and finally like a few designs in one of the shops. After much confusion over which set to be selected and after spending a lot of time, I selected a beautiful set.
The next thing on my list was to get some gift for my family and friends. Someone told me that I should try out at the Linking Road. It was much like a roadside shopping. The Linking Road was much crowded with people busy in buying and bargaining. I roamed on the streets for a long time before I could do a lot of shopping for all my friends and family members. I got so engrossed in shopping that I could not keep a track of time.
I enjoyed the Mumbai trip as the training session was good. Also, I had the best hotel stay with warm hospitality and street shopping offering a lot of fun.
